Our home is ready for Christmas! What about yours?
This year my son decorated our Christmas tree! However it was missing a tree skirt. So I bought some red suede fabric and contrasting cotton for the trim and made one. With only the trim it looked too plain, so I appliqued some candy cane in the skirt using the left over fabric from the trim . Now my son is very happy to see the candy cane tree skirt and wants to put real candy cane in the tree! That is another story :-).
Handmade Christmas Tree Skirt
Last time when my mom visited she was making cross stitch borders to be put in towels. She is involved in a charitable organization and makes them for their fundraiser. I got the idea and made few to lift the holiday mood. Yes Mom you are always my inspiration!
